I sometimes get very confused when people complain that this and that person hasn’t talked to them in x-amount of time. I mean… You don’t have to marry all your free time to someone to be able to be their friend, right?

My best friends can go for days, weeks and sometimes even years without even sharing a word with them, and when we do meet, it’s like no time had passed at all and we just pick up where we left.

Absence doesn’t equal hate. Sometimes there’re just things that keep people busy or there might be distance or overall anything. Why’d you want to spend the few precious moments with your friend by shaming them for not wanting to/having spent time with you? You do realize that if they know that every time they talk with you, it’s going to be filled with whining and blaming, they’re not going to want to talk to you no matter how wonderful person you might be?

Just… relax, peeps. Friends are awesome, if they’re to leave you, then you didn’t need them in the first place, and remember, nobody’s forcing you to be anyone’s friend. If you don’t like chatting/hanging with them, you don’t have to. There’s been weird FRIENDSHIP5EVA thing going on, you don’t have to be friends with everyone.

Weh I’m not making any sense anymore but just relax, friends are awesome, if you see them rarely or often, appreciate that time and just have fun..!
